Established in 1977, Polar Pools has earned an enviable reputation for creating quality in-ground and above ground swimming pools.

Initially Polar Pools supplied pools and chemicals within the Haverhill area, as well as pool maintenance and some repairs. By 1985, the company was manufacturing under licence its own pool package, selling and marketing through dealerships in the UK, Channel Islands, Europe and the Middle East. However, changes within the company led to a move away from manufacturing and into the installation, refurbishment and servicing of swimming pools.

From the outset, our company vision has always been to provide a reliable, quality service with a strong focus on customer care. These values are as important now as ever and have been shaped by the fact that Polar Pools remains a family run business.

Today, the company is managed by Grant Dobinson with co-director Liz Dobinson. What's more, as the third generation of the family has just joined the business, you can be rest assured that Polar Pools commitment to customer service has a secure and very promising future. In addition, this younger vision will no doubt bring many new and innovative ideas to the drawing board.

As well as Marilyn Dial who runs our office, the Polar Pools team includes a number of highly skilled pool specialists and engineers who can design and deliver individual and imaginative pool solutions for your garden. We offer sound, professional advice and have the expertise to manage any swimming pool project.

Retaining a qualified and experienced work force has enabled Polar Pools to gain membership of a number of prestigious organisations. The company has SPATA (The Swimming Pool and Allied Trade Association), CORGI (The Council for Registered Gas Installers) and OFTEC (Oil Fired Technical Association) certificates.
